Lagoon

Maureen had her annual work lagoon day and she got us in cheap. This has become a tradition over the past 3 years now. The kids absolutely love going to lagoon. Sometimes they see it from the freeway and they'll say "Hey there's Raccoon! Can we go there?!" We always tell them that Aunt Meanie will get us tickets in the summer.

An extra special treat for the kids was that grandma was in town and was able to go with us.

Xidis and Elyxzia rode nearly every single kid's ride together. They were really cute.

They rode a round of the cars.

The airplanes about 20 times.

Puff the magic dragon twice.  Grandma nearly lost her lunch.

Bulgy the whale is a big attraction for both kids.

They probably rode it 17 times.

They rode the helicopters.

We rode a pirate ship with Grandma.

They rode some other helicopters a bunch.

We finally got home about midnight. Surprisingly there were no meltdowns the entire day. Even when we had to call it quits. Xidis said to us "Thanks for taking us to lagoon." They can really surprise you sometimes.

Xidis decided right as we were leaving that he wanted to run through the fountain. I was about to say "We're about to get in the car, let's not worry about it." But before I could say anything Maggie said "Yeah, do it!" He did it and was instantly cold. He rode home in a pair of dry under-roos that Maggie packed just in case.
