Stitches

Much to our surprise, Elyxzia was the first one to get stitches. Both the kids run through our hallway all day long now that winter has set in and they don't go outside much. Without fail, someone always pushes or gets pushed and heads smash into walls, corners and door frames. Most of the time it's just a goose egg and a bruise, but Elyxzia hit the corner of the wall just right and split it right open.




We took her to the ER and they put three stitches in her forehead. She was brave and got a popsicle and a teddy bear (Primary Children's Hospital is awesome). 5 days later while Maggie was on the phone in the other room, I removed the stitches. The doctor said that I could, but it still freaks Maggie out. Elyxzia is as good as ever and back to running down the halls full speed with Xidis.
